"My experience with Reeves Maddox as my State Farm insurance agent has been one of the most frustrating, and horrible customer service experiences I've ever had. During one of the most stressful times a policyholder can face—a difficult total-loss claim—I expected advocacy, communication, and professionalism. Instead, I was unexpectedly transferred to another State Farm office without any notice or explanation. I discovered this only after trying to continue working through my claim.

This lack of communication made an already difficult claims process even more complicated. Throughout our business relationship, I encountered multiple mistakes, omissions, and lapses in follow-through that eroded my confidence that my concerns were being handled competently. Rather than feeling supported by the person entrusted with protecting my interests, I felt abandoned when I needed assistance the most.

Insurance is built on trust, accountability, and integrity. Based on my experience, I was left questioning whether those values were truly being upheld at the Maddox organization. When errors go unaddressed, communication breaks down, and a client is effectively handed off without even being informed, it's difficult not to question both the professionalism and honesty involved.

I cannot recommend Reeves Maddox to anyone looking for an insurance agent who will stand by them during a complex claim. When you need an advocate the most is when an agent's character is revealed. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling that I was left to navigate the process on my own."

"We had a rough start, and it was a serious one. My sales agent failed to process my motorcycle policy correctly, which resulted in me unknowingly riding uninsured due to their error. That’s not a small issue and should never happen. While the mistake was eventually corrected, it should have been done right the first time.

On top of that, my rates increased at renewal.

That said, if you’re looking for an insurance agency that actually answers the phone and communicates with you, this is the place. When I call with a question or an issue, someone picks up and speaks to me directly, which is rare these days.
